Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct regular sessions and assessments to evaluate clients' mental health statuses, utilizing structured interviews and evidence-based assessment tools.

• Develop individualized and culturally responsive treatment plans that address the specific needs and goals of each client.

• Implement a variety of therapeutic methodologies, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and person-centered therapy, to provide effective treatment.

• Maintain detailed client records using our electronic health record (EHR) system to document progress and treatment modifications.

• Offer guidance and referrals to external healthcare providers, including psychiatrists or community resources, when necessary.

• Engage in consultations with fellow team members to share insights and collaborate on client strategies that enhance treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will serve include individuals dealing with a wide range of mental health disorders, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma-related conditions, and substance use disorders. You will work with diverse populations, including adolescents, adults, and families from various cultural backgrounds. Your ability to understand and respond to the unique contexts and experiences of your clients will significantly impact their healing process.

Qualifications\n

• A bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited institution is required.

• Current valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New York.

• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling is required.

• A strong foundation in mental health disorders and the application of evidence-based treatment approaches.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This rewarding position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, with a potential sign-on bonus of up to $1,000.
