This position offer a remote work setting, allowing you the flexibility to meet clients in their homes, or virtually depending on circumstances and the needs of the family. Key Responsibilities\n

Your day-to-day responsibilities as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist will include:

• Providing individual therapy sessions in homes or group therapy sessions in outpatient settings to address emotional and behavioral challenges.
\n
• Implementing therapeutic interventions such as anger management, coping strategies, and social skills training to help clients mitigate high-risk behaviors.
\n
• Assisting families in enhancing decision-making capabilities and managing in-home behavioral difficulties.
\n
• Working closely with the Child Family Treatment Team and other specialists to deliver a collaborative approach to therapy.
\n
• Timely documentation of client sessions and treatment plans, ensuring all case notes and intake forms are submitted within designated timeframes.
\n
• Participating in monthly team meetings to discuss client progress and contribute recommendations for ongoing treatment strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on children between the ages of 3 to 20 years who have been diagnosed with developmental and intellectual disabilities. You will be pivotal in delivering much-needed support to families, addressing not only the clinical needs of the children but also the emotional stressors faced by caregivers. Your ability to communicate effectively with families, including those who are bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese, will be essential for fostering therapeutic relationships and providing culturally competent care.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a related field.
\n
• An active and unrestricted LMFT license in the state of Nevada.
\n
• Availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours (4-7 pm), with flexibility to work on weekends should it be necessary.

• Strong documentation skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, the following experiences are preferred:

• Experience providing positive behavior support strategies in therapeutic settings.
\n
• Prior experience in working with children and adolescents with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
\n
• A valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle for transportation to client locations.
\n
• Background checks to ensure the safety and security of the children and families served.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 60,000 to 80,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, our benefits package includes:
