Key Responsibilities\n

• Maintain a manageable caseload of clients, fostering positive therapeutic relationships while adhering to professional ethics and maintaining appropriate boundaries.

• Conduct regular therapy sessions using various therapeutic modalities tailored to each client’s unique needs and circumstances.

• Develop, implement, and track individualized treatment plans aimed at achieving measurable progress and goals.

• Perform comprehensive intake assessments to accurately understand clients' histories, challenges, and treatment needs.

• Document client progress accurately and maintain updated records in a confidential manner per state regulations and ethical guidelines.

• Participate in regular individual supervision sessions aimed at professional support and development.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes and provide comprehensive care.

• Engage in professional development, including attending workshops, training sessions, and earning continuing education units (CEUs) on relevant mental health topics.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele coping with various mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, substance use, eating disorders, and trauma-related concerns. By utilizing effective therapeutic interventions, you will directly contribute to improving the mental health outcomes of individuals from different backgrounds and experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• Must possess a valid and unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of New Jersey.

• At least one year of post-graduate clinical experience in an outpatient setting is preferred.

• Strong communication, critical thinking, and active listening skills are essential for this role.
