Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive preliminary interviews with clients, meticulously documenting cases from the initial consultation through the entirety of treatment.

• Evaluate the mental, behavioral, and emotional health of clients using standardized assessment tools and clinical judgment.
\n
• Design and implement tailored intervention and recovery plans that cater to individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate engaging and effective individual and group therapy sessions, promoting growth and therapeutic change within a secure environment.

• Continuously monitor and document client progress against established treatment goals, adjusting plans as necessary to meet evolving client needs.
\n
• Collaborate actively with a team of diverse mental health specialists, ensuring a cohesive approach to client care that includes input from doctors, nurses, and social workers.

• Maintain communication with psychiatrists and attending physicians for clients who may require hospitalization, facilitating seamless transitions and care continuity.

• Identify and intervene in factors that hinder recovery, supporting clients in overcoming barriers to wellness.

• Provide education and resources to family members and primary caregivers on managing mental health challenges effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a varied patient population, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and adjustment disorders. Our clients may also present with more complex conditions, such as trauma history or co-occurring substance use issues. This diverse landscape allows for rich therapeutic experiences and the opportunity to apply a variety of treatment modalities.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Arizona.
\n
• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• A solid foundation in mental health counseling principles and practices, evidenced by prior professional experience in a related role.
\n
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, to ensure accurate client documentation and care coordination.
\n
• A strong understanding of the interplay between mental health and physical health conditions and familiarity with addiction disorders.
\n
• A commitment to best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interactions with clients and colleagues.
\n
• A compassionate demeanor and exceptional interpersonal skills that facilitate rapport-building and trust with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of three years of experience as a mental health counselor is preferred, with a demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations and complex cases.

• Experience in a fast-paced outpatient setting and familiarity with treatment planning and client advocacy.

• Background in Group Therapy modalities and evidence-based practices is an asset.

• Prior experience managing treatment teams or collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a healthcare setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation package for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 110,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
