Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one mental health counseling services specifically tailored to young clients, utilizing various methodologies and approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
• Conduct comprehensive assessments that evaluate the needs and circumstances of each client, leading to the development and documentation of individualized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques to help clients address their specific mental health issues, adjust strategies as required, and track the progress of treatment.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential electronic health records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring that patient information is safeguarded and accessible only to authorized personnel.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals within the hospice center to ensure coordinated and effective care for each patient.
• Stay abreast of developments in mental health counseling practices through ongoing professional development, participation in training sessions, and staying updated on new research and regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role involves working with youth and young adults experiencing mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, and behavioral concerns. Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• Possession of an Active Washington State License as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) is mandatory.

• Proficiency in implementing various behavioral therapies and patient assessments, with a firm commitment to client-centered care.

Compensation and Benefits
