This role offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions via telehealth. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor with Conscious Therapy:

• You will conduct detailed trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients’ history and determine tailored treatment plans.
\n
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that center on trauma recovery, utilizing effective evidence-based therapies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe space for clients to process their experiences, build coping strategies, and foster healing.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive care for each patient.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and support during traumatic incidents, ensuring clients receive timely assistance.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, available resources, and coping mechanisms to empower their recovery journey.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development opportunities to enhance your knowledge in trauma-informed care.

Qualifications\n

To thrive in this role, candidates should possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LPC in the state of Texas.

• A passion for trauma-informed treatment strategies and a strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, combined with a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor.

• A calm and composed presence in high-stress situations, supporting clients effectively.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other computer applications to document and track patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred. Special consideration will be given to candidates with:

• A commitment to completing documentation and notes within 24 hours of service delivery, demonstrating organization and accountability.
