Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will be responsible for:

• Holding a caseload of clients, establishing rapport and maintaining professional boundaries to foster a therapeutic alliance.

• Conducting regular meetings with clients to review their progress, stability, and upcoming appointments, and determining the appropriateness of discharge.

• Developing, implementing, and continuously monitoring person-centered treatment plans in collaboration with clients.

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation through progress notes, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Performing comprehensive intake assessments for new clients to inform treatment planning.
\n
• Facilitating individual therapy sessions weekly, addressing a wide array of mental health concerns.

• Engaging in individual supervision sessions to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge.

• Collaborating with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on youth mental health, addressing a spectrum of challenges that may include anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s Degree in mental health or a related field.

• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Virginia.

Preferred Experience\n
