Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, providing you with the flexibility to connect with students and families from the comfort of your own home. Despite the remote nature of this role, you will have access to robust digital tools that assist in delivering high-quality care, including telehealth platforms, electronic health record (EHR) systems, and virtual communication tools. Your work schedule will generally be Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional evening or weekend hours based on student needs and availability.

Key Responsibilities\n

Your day-to-day activities will involve a variety of essential tasks, including:

• Conducting thorough assessments of students' emotional, behavioral, and social needs, utilizing evidence-based approaches to identify concerns.

• Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized support plans that align with each student's unique needs and circumstances.

• Providing counseling and therapeutic interventions to children and their families, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and social challenges.

• Facilitating group therapy sessions and skill-building workshops that foster resilience and coping strategies among students.

• Advocating for students' rights and necessary resources within the school and community, ensuring equitable access to support services.

• Maintaining comprehensive and accurate documentation of all interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in accordance with best practices and ethical standards.

• Regularly evaluating progress toward goals and making adjustments to care plans based on clinical findings and feedback from families.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your focus will primarily be on school-aged children from diverse backgrounds who face a range of social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. Many of these students may be experiencing significant life changes, such as family transitions, trauma, or learning difficulties. As a Clinical Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in guiding them through these challenges and promoting their overall well-being and academic success.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Kansas.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field; a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program is preferred.

• A minimum of two years of professional experience in a clinical or school setting, with demonstrable skill in working with children and adolescents.

• Strong knowledge of child development, mental health disorders, and best practices in school-based mental health interventions.

• Proficient in using EHR and telehealth systems to manage client records and provide remote services effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

While two years of experience in a relevant role is required, candidates with additional training in trauma-informed care, school psychology, or child-centered therapies will be preferred. Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques and experience in advocating for special education services or community resources will also be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 60,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
