Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to create tailored treatment plans that reflect each patient's unique circumstances.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques during one-on-one and group therapy sessions to address issues ranging from anxiety and depression to trauma and relationship challenges.

• Maintain a high standard of professionalism through accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with ethical guidelines and legal requirements.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to ensure holistic care and resource sharing, thereby enhancing patient outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention support during emergencies to protect and stabilize patients, demonstrating decisiveness and compassion under pressure.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, appropriate treatment pathways, and available community resources to encourage active participation in their mental health journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with clients from diverse backgrounds, including ethnic minorities, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and new immigrant populations. It is essential that you bring an understanding of their unique cultural contexts and experiences to tailor your therapeutic approaches to suit their varied needs and challenges effectively.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or licensed psychologist within the state of Texas.

• Deep understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based interventions, coupled with an aptitude for employing culturally competent practices.

• Strong crisis intervention skills with a proven ability to engage clients empathetically during critical moments.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities that facilitate the formation of rapport with a diverse clientele.

• Proficient in the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant software applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
