The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform detailed assessments and screenings of clients to accurately evaluate their mental health concerns. This includes collecting comprehensive histories and identifying key factors affecting their well-being.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that cater to individual client needs, which will showcase specific therapeutic goals and actionable strategies for improvement.

• Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices. You will leverage approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other modalities suited to the clients’ presenting issues.

• Collaborate actively with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers, to ensure an integrated approach to client care.

• Provide necessary education and support to clients’ families, helping them understand mental health challenges and encouraging their involvement in the therapeutic process.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential documentation in compliance with ethical and regulatory standards, ensuring all interactions and sessions are accurately recorded within our EHR system.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Horizons Counseling, you will engage with a diverse spectrum of clients that vary in age, background, and mental health challenges. You will support individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and other mental health concerns, creating a space where they can explore their feelings and work towards recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker-R (LCSW-R) is required.

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.

• A track record of at least two years of experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating the ability to provide therapeutic services successfully.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, accompanied by a competitive benefits package that includes health insurance, dental and vision insurance, a retirement plan, and generous paid time off. Additionally, newly hired team members are eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $1,000.
