Change Manager

Role Description

MUST HAVE 8-10 YEARS OF CHANGE MANAGEMENT.

• Plan, oversee and coordinate the organizational change management activities throughout the whole project life cycle of a system implementation. Primary focus is to ensure the organization adopts new technology and processes.
• Along with technology implementations, other aspects of the Organizational Change process may include, but are not limited to, communications management, risk assessment, and workforce/human resources transformations.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Drive work-stream delivery through full project lifecycle by successfully completing the projects to required client schedule, budget and scope.
• Apply “best practices” from prior involvement in large-scale people change initiatives.
• Develop a change management strategy based on a situational awareness of the details of the change and the groups being impacted by the change with heavy emphasis on remote workforce.
• Perform the relevant and typical project management processes such as; initiate, plan, execute, monitor and control and close.
• Perform the supporting project management processes such as; scope, cost, time, issue, risk, resource, communication, stakeholder management.
• Apply a structured change management approach and methodology for the people side change caused by projects and change efforts.
• Plan the project based on a defined need - results in detailed scope/budget/schedule baseline.
• Monitor and control the work to ensure that the project remains on track and on budget with the required quality.
• Interface and communicate with project team, management and stakeholders.
• Identify and understand current controls gaps and develop and execute plan to remediate.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Management, Computer Science, or other related discipline.
• PMP Certification.
• Record of project management and delivery to time and cost for large projects.
• Experience managing regulatory change projects.
• Prior experience with vendor software implementations, conversion/migration projects, organization change management and process reengineering initiatives.

• This is a Contract position based out of Chicago, IL.
