Team Manager DISABILITY EVALUATION SERVICES ADMINISTRATOR I – The Team Manager (TM) directs a multidisciplinary team in adjudicating disability claims for Social Security, Supplemental Security Income, and Medi-Cal programs. The TM plans, organizes, and oversees all team activities, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality outcomes. Salary Range $7,172.00 – $8,910.00 per month. New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or the minimum of an alternate range when applicable. Responsibilities Plan, organize, and direct the workload of a team comprised of Disability Evaluation Analysts, Medical Consultants, and support staff. Coordinate the quantity and quality of team production, ensuring timely adjudication of disability claims. Participate in decision‑making processes related to team quality, workflow, and production. Model Management Competencies in human and technical skills, serving as a role model for first‑level managers. Minimum Requirements Minimum requirements are described in the Classification Specification for DISABILITY EVALUATION SERVICES ADMINISTRATOR I. Special Requirements Position requires a Background Investigation to be cleared prior to hire. Working Conditions Eligible for hybrid work as permitted by Governor’s Executive Order N‑22‑25 and CDSS policies. Telework schedules may change; in‑office attendance and participation in in‑person events are required as needed. The position requires residence in California at time of appointment.
