Work Environment This position is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility in your work setting while adhering to a Monday to Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough mental health evaluations to assess patients’ needs and tailor individualized treatment plans that suit their unique challenges. Administer evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused approaches, during one-on-one sessions with individuals, couples, and families. Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups that serve to educate participants on mental health topics and foster community connection. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure integrated and well-rounded patient care. Provide immediate crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, prioritizing clients' safety and well-being. Educate patients about their mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources that can assist in their recovery journey. Maintain comprehensive and accurate client documentation in adherence to legal and ethical guidelines. Engage in ongoing case consultations with colleagues and participate in professional development activities to continue enhancing your therapeutic skills. Stay informed on current trends, research, and treatment methodologies in the mental health field to sustain effective practice. Patient Population / Client Focus As a Mental Health Counselor at Peace and Purpose, you will serve a diverse patient population, including individuals from various cultural backgrounds and demographic groups. Your commitment to understanding and addressing the unique needs of each patient will be vital in developing effective therapeutic relationships and treatment strategies, ultimately enhancing their mental health and well-being. Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; however, a Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is preferable. A current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas. Strong knowledge base of mental health disorders, therapeutic interventions, and evidence-based practices. Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive mental health assessments and create actionable treatment plans. Experience providing both individual and group therapy in varied settings is an asset. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that promote rapport-building with clients. Exemplary judgment, maintaining professional boundaries and ethics at all times. Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure efficient documentation and patient care management. Ability to function effectively within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. Preferred Experience While proficiency in mental health practice is essential, experience working in a remote setting and with telehealth platforms is a significant advantage. Familiarity with community resources and partnerships will enhance your ability to assist clients effectively. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year.
