Authentication Guarantee Team Lead Collectors is a global leader in technology and services for collectors, providing grading, authentication, vaulting, and sales across collectibles such as trading cards, autographs, comics, coins, video games, event tickets, and memorabilia. The Authentication Guarantee Team Lead will support daily eBay operations from the Santa Ana, CA office, working Monday‑Friday (6am‑2:30pm) to ensure the highest standards of quality and accuracy. What You’ll Do Support and oversee daily eBay operations, ensuring a collector‑first approach and maintaining the highest quality standards. Monitor team performance and report on metrics such as exceptions tracking, inbound/outbound mail, and accuracy to support data‑driven decisions. Seek feedback early and often—listen to team members, resolve conflicts with empathy, and escalations when necessary. Set clear team goals with supervisors and eBay leadership and communicate the purpose behind them. Recognize high performance and reward accomplishments to reinforce our culture of excellence. Identify training needs and provide coaching that fosters continuous learning and career growth. Communicate challenges transparently and early to prevent issues from escalating. Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure seamless operations aligned with our collector‑first mission. Facilitate huddles, manage inventory/cycle counts, and reassign duties as needed. Lead by example and champion all company policies, including safety, attendance, and security. Who You Are 4–6 years of experience in a hands‑on role in collectibles grading or authentication, fragile item handling, mail processing or shipping, or as an art or antiques handler or technician or similar position. Demonstrated integrity with honest, ethical decisions. Kind and respectful communication style, assumes positive intent, provides constructive feedback, and fosters an inclusive environment. Strong written and verbal communication, capable of articulating ideas clearly and justifying decisions confidently. Decisive problem‑solver with high emotional intelligence who thinks long term.
