Key Responsibilities\n

• Utilize your extensive knowledge and clinical training to develop tailored psychosocial diagnoses for students, conducting thorough assessments that aid in the formation of personalized treatment plans.

• Employ evidence-based methodologies such as solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and behavioral activation to design and implement effective treatment regimens.

• Foster collaborative relationships by working closely with teachers, school administrators, and healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to student mental health.

• Document therapy progress meticulously, whether through in-person sessions or virtual consultations, to track treatment efficacy and adjust plans as necessary.

• Assist in the management of psychiatric medications prescribed by healthcare professionals, paying close attention to dosage adherence, potential side effects, and overall treatment success.

• Participate in regular meetings and training sessions aimed at enhancing your skills and contributing to the team’s shared knowledge base.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on students in educational settings who face mental health challenges. This includes providing support for anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and other social-emotional difficulties. By working within schools, you will have the opportunity to directly influence the well-being and academic success of children and adolescents.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
\n
• Currently licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to practice independently in Florida.

• A minimum of one year of experience as an independently licensed therapist working with diverse populations.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience working within school settings or with pediatric populations will be viewed as a strong asset. Familiarity with various therapeutic frameworks and an ability to connect with students and families from diverse backgrounds will be essential for success in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges between $90,000 and $105,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
