Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed intake assessments to gather comprehensive information regarding clients’ history and needs, forming the foundation of individualized treatment plans.

• Deliver effective individual and group therapy sessions that address a range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma, empowering clients to reach their personal goals.

• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and peer support specialists, to coordinate care and provide holistic support to clients.

• Stay actively engaged in professional development by attending workshops, training sessions, and relevant conferences to maintain up-to-date therapeutic practices.

• Contribute to and participate in the development and enhancement of clinical services by providing feedback and sharing insights on patient care protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with individuals facing a variety of emotional and psychological challenges, including, but not limited to, anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related issues, and relationship concerns. Our client population is diverse, encompassing varying ages, backgrounds, and unique life experiences, providing a rich and fulfilling clinical practice.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• An active state license or certification as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A minimum of two years of experience providing mental health counseling to individuals dealing with emotional and psychological challenges.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build rapport and establish trust quickly with clients.

• Experience with electronic medical records systems is preferred, but not mandatory.

Preferred Experience\n

• Proficiency in a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness-based techniques.

• Prior experience in a community health clinic or similar healthcare setting, where you have witnessed first-hand the importance of collaborative care.

• Familiarity with the unique mental health needs of underserved populations, particularly within the San Francisco region.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 120,000, dependent on experience and qualifications.
