Position Overview

The Live Freely Psychological Health Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team in a remote, full-time role. In this position, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality mental health services to individuals, couples, and families across Elkton, Maryland, and the surrounding areas. This position offers an annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000, depending on your experience.

Work Environment

This role will be completely remote, allowing for flexibility in your work setting while still enabling you to connect deeply with clients. As part of our Community Health Clinic, you will be supported by a team of dedicated professionals who collaborate closely to provide comprehensive care. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions using a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
• Thoroughly assess clients’ psychological needs and develop personalized treatment plans that address specific goals.
• Employ effective diagnostic assessments to create coherent plans that enhance client outcomes.
• Collaborate with fellow team members, including psychiatrists, social workers, and support staff, to ensure a holistic approach to therapy.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress utilizing our practice management software, adhering to ethical and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients include diverse individuals and families seeking assistance with a range of mental health issues including depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, and family dynamics. You will work effectively with clients from various backgrounds and cultures, emphasizing the importance of cultural competence and sensitivity in treatment.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Maryland.
• Strong understanding of various therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and family systems therapy.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to build rapport and trust with a diverse clientele.
• Dedication to ethical practice, cultural competence, and social justice in all aspects of therapy.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of two (2) years of post-licensure experience providing clinical therapy services.
• Experience utilizing virtual therapy platforms and telehealth technologies to deliver care effectively.
• History of creating tailored treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments and client feedback.

Compensation and Benefits
