Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions and functional capabilities, establishing a baseline for tailored interventions.
• Formulate individualized treatment plans that address specific rehabilitation goals, incorporating evidence-based practices and innovative techniques.
• Implement hands-on therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and various modalities to alleviate pain and restore mobility.
• Educate patients on injury prevention, proper body mechanics, and self-management strategies to empower them in their recovery process.
• Continuously monitor patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to maximize recovery and functional improvement.
• Maintain meticulous patient records to document treatment interventions, outcomes, and progress to ensure a coordinated care approach.
• Engage in collaborative discussions with interdisciplinary teams to create comprehensive care strategies for patients.
• Participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay current with advancements in physical therapy techniques and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our team treats a wide range of conditions, including but not limited to musculoskeletal injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, balance and gait deficits, and chronic pain syndromes. Our diverse patient population comprises individuals of all ages, including seniors, athletes, and post-operative patients, each requiring tailored therapy approaches that respect their unique backgrounds and rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Board certification by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) is required.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience providing physical therapy services, with a strong preference for candidates who possess additional continuing education in specialized areas.
• Proficiency in contemporary physical therapy techniques and evidence-based rehabilitative practices.
