Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide therapeutic counseling and support services to students facing emotional, behavioral, and psychosocial challenges, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

• Serve as an advocate for clients, assisting them in accessing community resources and social services aimed at improving their mental health and overall well-being.

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each client, ensuring progress tracking and goal achievement.

• Deliver immediate crisis intervention when necessary, prioritizing client safety and stability while providing supportive guidance through challenging situations.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential clinical documentation, including client records, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus will be on school-aged children and adolescents who are experiencing mental health challenges that affect their academic performance and social interactions. You will work with a diverse population and address issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma, ensuring that each student receives the individualized support they require.

Qualifications\n

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Kansas is essential.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) or a closely related field is required.

• A minimum of four years of experience in social work, with a preference for those with a background in outpatient mental health or school settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n
