Construction BookkeeperPosition: Construction BookkeeperLocation: West Babylon, NYCompany/Industry: Well-established commercial construction firmSchedule: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm, On-site onlySalary: $80,000 - $120,000/yr, depending on experience, with flexibility for the right candidateType: Direct hire + BenefitsKey ResponsibilitiesManage full-cycle construction bookkeeping including AP, AR, job costing, and reconciliationsProcess vendor invoices, subcontractor payments, and purchase ordersPrepare and track job cost reports for active commercial projectsHandle billing, progress payments, and change ordersMaintain project files and financial documentationReconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and vendor statementsSupport payroll processing (experience helpful but not required)Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate job costing and timely billingUse QuickBooks Desktop daily for all accounting functionsRequirements4+ years of construction bookkeeping experience — commercial construction requiredStrong QuickBooks Desktop experienceSolid understanding of job costing, progress billing, and construction AP/ARAbility to work on-site Monday–FridayStrong organizational skills and attention to detailComfortable working in a small accounting team (no supervisory duties)Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $80,000.00 - $120,000.00
