Key Responsibilities\n

• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in both individual and group therapy sessions.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care for patients, enhancing the overall treatment experience.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure patient safety and emotional stability.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Helping Hands Counseling Services, you will primarily work with patients who have experienced significant trauma, including those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and related dissociative disorders. Your expertise will guide individuals through their recovery processes, helping them build resilience in the face of their challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia.

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, demonstrating a solid foundation in trauma-related practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n
