This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility while still maintaining strong connections with the team and clients. Work hours are set from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, which supports a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Senior Mental Health Therapist, you'll engage in a variety of tasks including:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to determine the extent and impact of mood disorder symptoms.

• Creating and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic methods—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)—to facilitate positive outcomes.

• Providing education and resources to clients and their families to promote understanding and self-management of mood disorders.
\n
• Regularly monitoring and evaluating client progress to adjust treatment plans as needed for maximum effectiveness.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and medical professionals to ensure a seamless continuum of care.

• Maintaining confidentiality and compliance in all documentation related to client treatment as per ethical standards.

• Participating in case consultations and continuous professional development to enhance your skills and stay current with best practices in mental health treatment.

• Advocating for clients within the community to help reduce stigma surrounding mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role centers primarily on supporting individuals facing a variety of mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, each bringing unique experiences and perspectives. Understanding and respecting these varied experiences is paramount for effective therapy and positively influencing their journey towards mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess the following:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as either an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Tennessee.
\n
• Proven experience in utilizing evidence-based treatments, specifically for mood disorders.
\n
• Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology as it relates to therapy practices.

• Demonstrated ability to achieve positive treatment outcomes with clients.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills, enabling rapport-building with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
