Work Environment\n

This role is designed for a remote setting, allowing for flexibility in your work life. You will be connected with a team of passionate professionals dedicated to optimizing mental health care for students within local school facilities. Communication and collaboration tools will facilitate continuous engagement with your colleagues and clients, ensuring that you remain supported throughout your workload. Your working hours will generally be Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a balanced approach to work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive clinical evaluations, utilizing standardized assessment tools and techniques to identify the mental health needs of student clients.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that address specific educational and emotional challenges faced by students.

• Work directly with teachers, school administrators, and families to coordinate care and interventions that enhance the support system for each child.
\n
• Engage in collaborative treatment planning meetings with other mental health professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to care.

• Provide ongoing guidance and education to families about mental health resources, coping strategies, and available support services.
\n
• Utilize current mental health research to inform practice and improve therapeutic outcomes for clients.

• Take an active role in peer case reviews and workshops to continuously refine your clinical skills and contribute valuable insights to the team.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be primarily focusing on students ranging from elementary through high school. Many of these students face a variety of challenges including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and learning disabilities. Your expertise will assist them in navigating their mental health challenges, fostering resilience, and enabling them to thrive both academically and socially within the school environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and active Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license in the state of Washington.

• A minimum of two years of experience working in a clinical psychotherapy setting, preferably with children and adolescents.

Compensation and Benefits\n
