Work Environment\n

As part of our outpatient office setup, you will engage with clients through remote sessions, making full use of digital tools and innovative therapeutic approaches. You will be supported by a collaborative team of professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, who are dedicated to providing comprehensive mental health care. Our work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with flexibility to adjust your schedule to best meet the needs of your clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to identify patients' unique experiences and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, responding adaptively to each patient's cultural background and personal context.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, effectively addressing a range of mental health concerns and fostering resilience.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure a cohesive and holistic approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention during mental health emergencies while utilizing strong problem-solving skills.
\n
• Educate patients and their families regarding mental health challenges, available treatment options, and supportive community resources.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation that complies with both legal and ethical standards.

• Actively participate in team meetings, cultural competency training, and case conferences to enhance collaborative practice.

• Continually update knowledge on current research, best practices, and relevant cultural considerations in therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients are diverse, including individuals from a multitude of ethnic backgrounds, LGBTQ+ individuals, and refugees or immigrants who may face unique mental health challenges. Each therapist plays a vital role in helping these populations navigate their mental health journey through empathetic care and tailored therapeutic techniques.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon.
\n
• A thorough understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment approaches, and the principles of cultural competence in therapy.

• Proven experience delivering individual and group therapy with a culturally responsive approach.

• Strong crisis intervention skills, demonstrating the ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven track record of building rapport with a diverse range of clients.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain accurate client records and communications.

• Commitment to upholding professional boundaries, ethical guidelines, and confidentiality strictly.

• An ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team landscape.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
