Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' movement, strength, and functional abilities to develop tailored treatment plans that address their specific orthopedic needs.
• Utilize evidence-based modalities and hands-on therapy techniques, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation, to improve patient function and alleviate pain.
• Guide and educate patients and their families about home exercise programs, self-care techniques, and lifestyle adaptations to facilitate recovery and prevent future injuries.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure holistic and coordinated care for each patient's health journey.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation following legal and ethical standards to track progress and treatment effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position will primarily involve working with individuals suffering from various orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, chronic pain syndromes, and musculoskeletal disorders. Our patients range from active individuals looking to return to their sports and hobbies to elderly clients recovering from surgeries. Your expertise will directly contribute to helping them regain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is mandatory for this role.
• An active state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida is required.
• At least 3 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• In-depth understanding of musculoskeletal conditions, injuries, diseases, and effective treatment modalities.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques along with knowledge of therapeutic modalities that promote pain relief and functional improvement.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 3 years of experience is required, candidates with additional certifications in specialized orthopedic therapies, extensive clinical practice, or leadership roles in therapy settings will be given preference. Experience in utilizing advanced therapeutic techniques and technologies such as dry needling or laser therapy will also enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits

This role comes with a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to USD 120,000 , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
