Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients referred by their physicians to develop effective, individualized treatment programs.
• Implement and monitor evidence-based physical therapy treatment plans for a diverse patient base, ensuring each plan aligns with the physician's directives.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service to enhance the overall effectiveness of care and foster a positive healing environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues in a team-oriented approach to optimize patient outcomes through shared insights and strategies.
• Offer skilled therapeutic interventions directly in patient homes when necessary, using methods that encourage functional improvements and adherence to care plans.
• Educate and train patients and their caregivers on exercises, techniques, and strategies to ensure successful recovery, emphasizing the importance of active participation in their healing journey.
• Meet or exceed minimum utilization goals while supporting organizational objectives and maintaining high patient satisfaction levels.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide-ranging client population, including:

• Orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries or injuries
• Pediatric patients with developmental delays or musculoskeletal conditions
• Neurologic patients requiring rehabilitation from strokes or traumatic brain injuries
• Athletes focusing on sports medicine and injury prevention

Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program.
• Current state license in Physical Therapy or eligibility to obtain such.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, coupled with proficient computer skills.
• A proactive approach to establishing rapport with patients, encouraging them to achieve their functional goals.

Preferred Experience

• Two (2) years of clinical experience in physical therapy, with a focus on providing evidence-based care.
• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is advantageous.
• Experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary medical team is preferred.
