Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments by employing various techniques, including interviews, observations, and medical record reviews, to identify emotional and social factors affecting students' educational experiences.

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions aimed at addressing emotional and behavioral issues, including anxiety, depression, and adjustment challenges, to enhance students' coping mechanisms and resilience.

• Develop and implement tailored intervention plans in collaboration with teachers, school administrators, and families to foster a supportive learning environment.

• Assist students in navigating and accessing community resources such as mental health services, support groups, and extracurricular programs to bolster their social support networks.

• Engage in collaboration with the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to ensure a holistic approach to student wellness, actively participating in team meetings to discuss progress and update treatment plans.

• Provide training and support for teachers and staff regarding the social-emotional needs of students, fostering a trauma-informed approach within the school community.

• Participate in the transition planning for students returning to school after hospitalization or a significant health crisis, helping them reintegrate smoothly into their educational setting.

You will concentrate on a diverse population of students facing various challenges, from psychological disorders to behavioral issues linked to learning and social environments. Your unique contributions will focus on early intervention, promoting mental health awareness, and addressing issues that impede academic success.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Must be licensed in Colorado as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Preferred Experience\n
