Accounts Payable Associate

Billing/AP AssociateShift/Hours: Monday - Friday, First Shift Pay Rate: $20 to $25/hr Location: San Diego, CA Experience: 2 Years of AP/AR experienceWe are excited to share a new opportunity for a Billing/AP Associate in San Diego, CA! This is an immediate, temporary or temporary -to-hire position. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of hands-on transactional experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable.Job Responsibilities: Accounts ReceivableCollect all information needed to process billings to customersIssue billings to customers through various payment channelsAccurately post all billings into Quickbooks/other accounting softwareRequest required releases throughout the billing processTrack all vendor preliminary notices to the company for each projectFollow up on outstanding receivables and resolve any billing issuesAnswer questions and handle complaints from customers regarding billingsUpdate accounting records with new customer information as neededSet up, organize, and maintain all job folders with the proper documentationReport on monthly activity to managementAccounts PayableAccurately code invoices based on description or job informationMatch packing slips and/or attach any required backup to appropriate invoicesEnter invoices accurately and timely into Quickbooks/other accounting softwareRoute invoices to Manager for reviewMake needed corrections to invoices once reviewedFile open and paid invoices in appropriate job or vendor foldersProcess employee expense reportsGather invoices for Controller for weekly check runsRequest and maintain W-9's for all vendorsReview vendor statements to ensure all invoices have been processedPull vendor documentation as requested for projectsAP/AR Associate Preferred Skills: 2 years of AP and AR experience Strong knowledge of and experience with Accounting and Microsoft software AP/AR Associate Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required Must have advanced mathematical skills Willingness to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screen Willingness to take skill assessments as needed Join Us.
