The New Providence Psychotherapy Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team full-time. Work Environment

This is a fully remote position, providing the flexibility to deliver high-quality counseling services from various locations while maintaining work-life balance. Our team operates in an outpatient setting, where therapists collaborate and connect virtually with clients. Utilizing secure video conferencing platforms, you will play a crucial role in extending our services beyond geographical constraints, ensuring that individuals in need can access the support they deserve.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct confidential virtual therapy sessions with clients using HIPAA-compliant video conferencing technology, ensuring the highest level of privacy and security.
• Thoroughly assess clients' mental health needs through structured intake interviews, psychological evaluations, and ongoing assessments.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that are result-oriented and based on the latest therapeutic techniques and best practices.
• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, employing a variety of therapeutic modalities suited to different client needs (e.g., CBT, DBT, solution-focused therapy).
• Maintain detailed and accurate client records including comprehensive progress notes and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Work in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists and social workers to deliver coordinated care and ensure holistic treatment approaches.
• Participate in regular supervision and professional development opportunities to enhance counseling skills and stay informed about advancements in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The counselor will work primarily with a diverse adult and adolescent population, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and relationship difficulties. Our clients come from various backgrounds, and you will be tasked with fostering a culturally sensitive environment that encourages openness and trust. Understanding each client's unique perspective is essential in developing effective treatment strategies that resonate with their individual experiences.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts.
• A minimum of three years of experience providing mental health counseling in settings such as outpatient clinics, community health organizations, or private practice.
• Proficiency in delivering therapy via video conferencing platforms and an aptitude for utilizing technology to enhance client engagement.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for building rapport and trust with clients.
• Strong organizational skills that enable effective management of client schedules and documentation in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in providing treatment for specific populations such as adolescents or substance abuse clients.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches and interventions.
• Experience in integrating holistic and integrative practices into therapeutic treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits

The New Providence Psychotherapy Center offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 – $95,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with the potential for a sign-on bonus. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
