Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health concerns, creating clinical diagnoses to inform treatment.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities suited to each client’s specific goals and situations, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness strategies.

• Provide compassionate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, adjusting techniques to respond to clients' evolving needs.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention for clients experiencing acute mental health crises or emergencies, ensuring their safety and connecting them to appropriate resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, documenting treatment plans, progress notes, and assessments in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals, to develop comprehensive care strategies for clients.

• Educate clients and their families on mental health issues, treatment methodologies, and available community resources, acting as an advocate for their rights and needs.

• Continually enhance your professional skill set through ongoing training and participation in workshops, staying abreast of the latest best practices in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a varied patient population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing a spectrum of challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and adjustment disorders. Your role will be essential in fostering an environment where clients feel safe, understood, and empowered to explore their thoughts and feelings.

Qualifications\n

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW) in Massachusetts is required.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is mandatory.

• Demonstrated competency in clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.

• Minimum of two years of relevant experience providing mental health counseling.

• Strong oral and written communication skills, with an emphasis on building rapport with clients and collaborating effectively with colleagues.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from $85,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
