We're looking for a Staff Accountant to join an established organization with a collaborative accounting team. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working closely with internal teams.

WHAT YOU'LL DO AS THE STAFF ACCOUNTANT

• Process a high volume of accounts payable transactions, including invoices, expenses, ACH payments, checks, and wire transfers
  
  
• Review and vouch invoices and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and proper approvals
  
  
• The Staff Accountant will process employee expenses and maintain accurate documentation
  
  
• Manage company credit card transactions and reconcile activity
  
  
• The Staff Accountant will perform account reconciliations and research discrepancies
  
  
• Provide accounting support and problem-solving assistance to branch locations
  
  
• Work closely with internal teams to resolve accounting questions and issues
  
  
• The Staff Accountant will assist with additional accounting projects and responsibilities as needed
  
  

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A STAFF ACCOUNTANT

• Previous accounting experience, preferably with accounts payable and reconciliations
  
  
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
  
  
• Experience with VLOOKUPs and PivotTables is a plus
  
  
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  
  
• Ability to analyze information, identify discrepancies, and solve problems
  
  
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities and shifting between tasks throughout the day
  
  
• Adaptable and willing to take on a variety of responsibilities
  
  
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
  
  
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, internal-facing environment
