Administrative Assistant

Sunshine Quality Solutions

Location: Administration Office - Donaldsonville, LA 70346. Position Type: Full Time; Hourly - Non Exempt. Travel Percentage: 0% - 5%. Job Category: Admin - Clerical. Sunshine Quality Solutions is looking for an Administrative Assistant to provide essential support to the office and accounting department. This role involves handling a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to facilitate the smooth functioning of the organization. Responsibilities Provide general support to visitors. Answer and direct phone calls, and manage correspondence. Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers. Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries. Organize and schedule meetings and appointments. Coordinate training and travel arrangements. Perform daily and monthly reconciliations of company accounting transactions. File insurance claims as needed. Renew and maintain company vehicle registrations and files. Renew and maintain company and dealership licenses. Issue trucking permits daily as needed and ensure annual renewals. Process and submit waste tire fee to DEQ. Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. Company Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance (including AD&D). 401(k) with employer match. Experience in managing office operations and supporting senior management. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and other relevant applications. Advanced knowledge of general accounting principles. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Physical Requirements Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time while working at a desk or computer. Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds (e.g., files, office supplies, or equipment). Ability to perform repetitive tasks, including typing and data entry. Frequent use of hands and fingers for computer work and handling paperwork.
