Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of children to identify developmental delays and establish baseline metrics for progress tracking.

• Actively participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), ensuring all plans are tailored to the specific needs of each child.

• Monitor outcomes effectively through ongoing evaluation of children's progress, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet established goals.

• Engage with families, providing guidance, resources, and emotional support to help them advocate for their child’s needs within educational and home environments.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including educators, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to create a holistic support network for the child and family.

• Stay compliant with all federal and state regulations regarding therapeutic practices and maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in early intervention.

• Build trusting relationships with children and families to foster a supportive and healthy learning environment conducive to development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on infants and toddlers with disabilities or developmental challenges. Many of these children may require early intervention services due to delays in areas such as physical abilities, cognitive development, social-emotional interactions, and communication skills. Our LCSW plays an integral role in ensuring these children receive appropriate support, resources, and interventions to help them succeed during critical early developmental stages.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Social Work or a Doctorate in the field is required.

• Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas, issued by the Department of Public Health.

Compensation and Benefits\n
