Lightheaded Counseling, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team in a full-time capacity. This role, primarily remote but embedded in an outpatient care model, allows you to make a profound impact on the mental health and well-being of individuals, couples, and families within Escondido, California, and surrounding areas.

Work Environment\n

This position offers flexibility with a remote work setting, accommodating professionals who value work-life balance while interacting with clients in an outpatient capacity. Our work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to meet the diverse needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct therapeutic sessions with clients from various backgrounds, including individual, couples, and family therapy, utilizing your expertise to create safe and effective therapeutic environments.

• Assess client needs through comprehensive interviews and diagnostic assessments to formulate personalized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.

• Implement a range of therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and family systems therapy, to guide clients toward achieving their mental health goals.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and progress, ensuring compliance with all ethical and legal standards while supporting effective treatment tracking.

• Engage in regular collaboration with multidisciplinary team members, sharing insights and strategies to enhance client care and foster a team-oriented atmosphere.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience providing clinical therapy services, demonstrating an ability to connect with and serve a variety of client populations effectively.

• Strong skills in conducting diagnostic assessments, developing comprehensive treatment plans, and utilizing therapeutic interventions relevant to client needs.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building rapport with diverse individuals and fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience with telehealth services is preferred, as this role integrates both remote and in-office engagements to ensure our clients receive optimal care. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and ability to utilize digital platforms for client management will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
