Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough evaluations of patients by reviewing medical histories, conducting standardized assessments, and documenting comprehensive results that inform treatment plans.
• Communicate evaluation findings and treatment strategies effectively to patients and their families, ensuring their involvement in setting achievable goals.
• Execute treatment protocols tailored to individual patient needs, adjusting these as necessary based on patient progress and changing health conditions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, ensuring seamless communication regarding patient status and interdisciplinary treatment adjustments as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and timely charge entries for all patient care activities in line with evolving healthcare regulations, providing a clear narrative of each patient's journey through therapy.
• Exhibit strong time management skills, meet productivity standards, and maintain an organized schedule to optimize service delivery.
• Engage in community outreach and marketing activities to promote physical therapy services and educate the public about available treatments.
• Contribute to department initiatives aimed at enhancing patient access and experience, and support team efforts in identifying and removing barriers to care.
• Participate in continuing education to ensure ongoing professional development and teach as a clinical instructor when opportunities arise.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population, including seniors, post-operative patients, and individuals recovering from acute injuries or chronic conditions. Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid physical therapy license in the State of Florida is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is preferred, although all experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.
