Navigate Family & Youth Therapy Services is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) to join our team. This full-time remote position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of youth and families by providing therapeutic support in a virtual community health clinic setting. Our salary range for this role is USD 70,000–110,000 annually, in addition to a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.

This role offers the flexibility of a fully remote work setting, allowing you to provide care from the comfort of your own space. Our clinic operates seven days a week from 7 am to 10 pm, which means you can tailor your schedule to meet your personal and professional needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients' histories and develop appropriate treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery.

• Create and implement individualized treatment strategies that may involve evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on helping clients process traumatic experiences, develop effective coping strategies, and foster healing.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, integrated care for all clients.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention during emergencies related to trauma and support clients through challenging moments.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources within the community.
\n
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities to enhance trauma-informed care practices.
\n
• Stay current with the latest research and methodologies in trauma therapy to continually improve treatment effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with children, adolescents, and families affected by trauma. Many of our clients present with complex psychological needs, requiring you to apply evidence-based strategies to foster resilience and recovery effectively. Your compassionate approach will significantly contribute to the emotional and mental well-being of these individuals as they navigate their healing journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois is mandatory.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and methodologies is essential.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism during high-stress scenarios.

• Proficiency in electronic health record systems and general computer applications is essential for effective documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred.

• Experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions is highly valued.

• Willingness to provide care for couples and families, with training provided for those who may need it.

• Demonstrated self-motivation to complete notes and other documentation within 24 hours.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Our compensation package includes a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to USD 110,000 per year, complemented by guaranteed pay increases and various bonus opportunities.
