Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess client needs based on the latest Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM).

• Providing short-term psychotherapy services tailored for individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Engaging in crisis intervention, skills training, and supportive therapy to address various mental health needs, including dual diagnoses.

• Developing and implementing treatment plans that adhere to the clinical standards of care and are responsive to the evolving needs of clients.

• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to coordinate comprehensive treatment strategies and ensure effective interventions.

• Maintaining clinical records and documenting therapy sessions according to organizational and regulatory guidelines.

• Participating in clinical meetings, contributing insights into treatment planning, case consultations, and the continuous improvement of care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will impact a diverse client population, including individuals experiencing mental health challenges, families navigating relational issues, and groups in need of intensive outpatient support. Qualifications\n

The successful candidate must hold:

• A current and valid LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) license or Psy.D to practice in New York State.

• A Master’s or doctoral-level degree in psychology, marriage and family therapy, or social work from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in providing psychotherapy services, preferably within a telehealth setting.
