Our practice is designed to foster a healthy recovery environment, while our team comprises experienced professionals—a duo of skilled physical therapists and a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA). Work Environment

The Grandcare physical therapy facility is equipped with advanced therapeutic equipment and resources that support a wide array of rehabilitation techniques. Located in San Diego, our practice thrives in a city that values health and wellness. The work schedule is set from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for work-life balance and dedicated time for patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and recognize patients' goals and specific needs to develop impactful treatment strategies.
• Maintain an efficient patient load, treating one individual per hour to ensure personalized and focused care.
• Utilize extensive knowledge of orthopedic conditions to deliver high-quality therapeutic interventions.
• Craft customized care plans that employ diverse treatment techniques ranging from manual therapy to exercise regimens.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their recovery process, fostering their independence and promoting active participation in their wellness journey.
• Implement cost-effective treatment options to improve patients' motion, mobility, and overall health, while minimizing reliance on medications.
• Collaborate seamlessly with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Document and assess treatment outcomes, continuously monitoring progress and maintaining transparent communication with patients and referring physicians.
• Engage in ongoing patient education, emphasizing the importance of lifestyle changes that optimize strength, flexibility, and overall functional performance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our diverse patient population primarily consists of individuals with private medical insurance who are seeking recovery from various orthopedic conditions. From post-surgical rehabilitation to sports injuries, our therapists work with a wide range of cases, ensuring that each patient feels supported and understood throughout their healing process.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of California, with no previous board or disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in developing effective exercise routines tailored to patient needs.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, and the ability to utilize them efficiently for documentation and patient tracking.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly beneficial, enabling the therapy approach to be applied effectively in our practice.
• Ability to adapt treatment methodologies based on the evolving needs and preferences of patients, enhancing overall satisfaction and outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits
