Derick Mental Health Counseling is seeking a full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dynamic outpatient psychiatric practice located in Victorville, California. This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility and a work-life balance while collaborating with other professionals in our outpatient office setting. Our team operates during standard business hours, from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing you to structure your workday effectively.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms, employing standardized tools and clinical judgment.

• Collaborate with clients to design tailored treatment plans that address their unique needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.

• Utilize evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to provide effective therapeutic interventions.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care techniques to enhance their involvement in the therapeutic process.

• Monitor client progress and adapt treatment plans as needed, ensuring continuous improvement in their mental health outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role involves working specifically with individuals experiencing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related disorders. Our clients come from various backgrounds, and you will play a crucial role in providing individualized care that addresses their varying needs and experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
\n
• Expertise in evidence-based treatment strategies for mood disorders, specifically CBT and DBT.
\n
• Strong collaborative skills with a good understanding of psychopharmacology, allowing effective interaction with psychiatrists and other medical staff.

• Demonstrated success in treating clients with mood disorders, evidenced by a track record of positive outcomes.

• Excellent communication skills essential for establishing rapport with a diverse client base.

Compensation and Benefits\n
