Work Environment

This role is primarily site-based within the Las Vegas community, allowing you to interact directly with patients in their homes as part of our Home Care program. Here, you will utilize various therapeutic techniques tailored for outpatient orthopedic conditions, each day presenting a new opportunity to make a significant impact on patients' lives. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a structured yet vibrant work schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical condition to identify their specific needs and challenges.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans using evidence-based practices, including manual therapy techniques and targeted exercise regimens.
• Educate patients about their conditions, offering preventive strategies and home exercise programs to promote long-term health and wellness.
• Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize recovery outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with a skilled team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with adult patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. Our outpatient clinic serves a diverse demographic, allowing you to encounter a variety of cases, from post-operative rehabilitation to injury prevention strategies. Your focus will be on fostering a safe and motivating environment that empowers patients to take an active role in their recovery process.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active Nevada PT license or eligibility for licensure.
• A strong understanding of outpatient orthopedic principles and practices.
• Excellent communication skills to convey treatment plans and educate patients effectively.
• A compassionate approach to patient care with a strong focus on individualized therapy.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting is required, with a focus on outpatient care strongly preferred.

• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and documentation practices.

Compensation and Benefits
