Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral therapy, and psychotherapy to address various mental health challenges.

• Assess client needs through detailed evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and consistently monitor and adjust these plans based on client progress.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, ensuring a holistic and integrated approach to client care while attending team meetings and contributing insights on patient treatment strategies.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention for families in acute distress, helping to stabilize situations and facilitate conflict resolution through effective communication and problem-solving strategies.

• Utilize telehealth technology proficiently to conduct sessions, maintain clinical documentation, and communicate with patients and colleagues, ensuring adherence to professional standards and confidentiality guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily serves children and families in Bellingham and surrounding areas who are facing a range of mental health complexities. You will work with clients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral issues, and more, providing empathetic listening and tailored therapeutic approaches that resonate with diverse cultural backgrounds and personal experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy is required.

• Possession of an active state license in Washington as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a therapeutic setting, particularly with children and families, is essential to ensure effective support and understanding.

Compensation and Benefits\n
