Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that account for co-occurring medical conditions, ensuring a thorough understanding of each patient's unique needs.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions utilizing empirically supported therapeutic modalities tailored to patients' experiences.

• Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare providers to deliver coordinated care, fostering an interdisciplinary approach to patient treatment.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support to patients experiencing mental health emergencies, utilizing best practices for de-escalation and stabilization.

• Educate patients and their families about the interplay between mental and physical health, helping them to manage their overall health effectively.

• Ensure all patient documentation is meticulously maintained in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems as required.

• Participate actively in clinical team meetings and case conferences to enhance collaborative care efforts and treatment planning.

• Keep abreast of the latest research and advancements in integrated mental health care, applying this knowledge to improve service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus on a diverse range of clients, including those managing chronic pain conditions, autoimmune disorders, and substance use challenges, often manifesting alongside mental health conditions. You will provide tailored therapeutic interventions aimed at improving both mental and emotional resilience, thereby supporting each client's journey toward recovery and health balance.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.

• Demonstrated ability to address the mental health needs of patients with concurrent medical conditions, ensuring a holistic approach to care.

• Proven experience in integrated care settings, collaborating effectively with medical professionals.

Preferred Experience\n
