You will work onsite in our spacious outpatient clinic located in Rockville Center, New York, providing therapy to a diverse population of patients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical therapy needs and establish treatment goals based on the physician's referrals.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that address the unique needs of diverse patient populations, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic methods, modalities, and techniques to facilitate recovery and improve functionality.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes, integrating best practices and clinical expertise.
• Provide education and support to patients and their caregivers, empowering them to understand their treatment plans and take an active role in their recovery.
• Document patient progress meticulously and monitor their adherence to therapeutic regimens, ensuring alignment with physician directions.
• Strive to meet minimum productivity goals while delivering high-quality patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role will involve working with a varied patient demographic, catering to individuals recovering from injuries, surgery, or chronic conditions. Your expertise will specifically be directed towards patients needing physical rehabilitation in orthopedic issues, neuromuscular disorders, pediatric development challenges, and sports-related injuries. Your ability to connect authentically with patients will be critical in helping them overcome challenges and achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution (APTA or CAPTE-approved).
• A valid State License to practice Physical Therapy in New York.
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
• Proficient computer skills with the ability to maintain detailed patient documentation using electronic health records.

Compensation and Benefits
