Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical therapy services to clients, focusing on the development, improvement, and restoration of muscle function as well as maximizing their physical performance based on individual treatment plans.
• Conduct evaluations of clients' physical abilities through comprehensive diagnostic tests, enabling personalized intervention strategies.
• Oversee and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring the effective application of treatment plans and providing clinical guidance for best practices in patient care.
• Design and implement customized therapeutic exercise programs, educating clients and their families on the use of physical therapy devices and effective home exercise regimens.
• Administer hands-on techniques, including manual therapy, traction, and the application of physical agents like heat and cold, to alleviate pain and enhance recovery.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team during case conferences to develop and adapt comprehensive care plans, ensuring a unified approach to patient treatment.
• Thoroughly document patient assessments, progress, and any changes in condition, maintaining precision in clinical records to support ongoing treatment plans.
• Participate in community outreach programs to educate the public on preventative care and rehabilitation services, reinforcing Resurgens' commitment to health and wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of patients, including those recovering from surgery, injuries, chronic pain conditions, and post-rehabilitation needs. Your therapeutic interventions will be crucial for individuals seeking to regain mobility, enhance physical function, and improve their overall quality of life. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Possession of a valid and active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia without any disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a strong foundation in evidence-based practice.
• Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and treatment plans efficiently.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly Web PT, for documentation and patient tracking.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in a rehabilitation or outpatient facility is highly valued.
• A background in developing patient-centered exercise programs leading to successful recovery outcomes.
• Experience in collaborating within an interdisciplinary team setting to formulate and execute patient care strategies.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
