Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped with the latest technology and treatment strategies, allowing you to work alongside a committed team of professionals who share a passion for patient care. This position is based onsite at our rehabilitation center in Fairfax, Virginia. The work setting cultivates a supportive and engaging atmosphere where you'll collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals. You will be involved in various aspects of patient care, utilizing evidence-based practices while working with diverse patient populations. Our operational hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life environment.
As a Physical Therapist at Atlantic Health Therapy, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Utilizing advanced rehabilitation technologies and manual therapy techniques to improve patient outcomes.
Encouraging and empowering patients to engage actively in their rehabilitation process by setting realistic goals.
Documenting all patient interactions, evaluations, and treatment plans accurately using EMR software, specifically Web PT.
At our Fairfax facility, we work with a wide range of patients, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, athletes returning from sports injuries, and those managing chronic pain or mobility issues. A significant aspect of your role will be to tailor rehabilitation strategies to address the unique challenges and goals of each patient, fostering a supportive environment that prioritizes their health and safety.
A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
An active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
Proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and a solid understanding of therapeutic modalities.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and the healthcare team.
Experience in an outpatient clinic setting, particularly related to orthopedic therapy, is highly valued. Candidates who have previously designed and implemented creative exercise programs and possess familiarity with electronic medical record systems will have an advantage in this role.
This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
