Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations, including detailed patient histories, musculoskeletal assessments, and performance of functional movement tests to create tailored treatment plans.
• Communicate clearly with patients and their families about evaluation findings and collaborate on setting achievable rehabilitation goals.
• Implement and monitor individualized treatment protocols that evolve based on patient responses and advancements within the healthcare landscape.
• Engage in inter-professional consultations and recognize changes in patients' conditions that necessitate adjustments to care plans.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of treatment procedures, evaluations, and patients' progress, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Manage time effectively to meet productivity targets, maintain accurate scheduling, and actively participate in community outreach initiatives to promote the facility.
• Participate in the development and implementation of department objectives, contributing to quality improvement and compliance with accreditation standards.
• Continually pursue professional development through continuing education opportunities and mentoring new healthcare team members.
• Foster a positive patient experience by being adaptable and responsive to individual needs and preferences, ensuring seamless access to quality care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Ability Rehab PT, you will work with a diverse group of patients, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your role will be pivotal in guiding patients through their rehabilitation journey, helping them to regain strength, mobility, and functional independence. Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Active state licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy.
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting.
• Current CPR certification and basic life-support knowledge.

Preferred Experience

While 2 years of experience is mandatory, candidates with experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy or specialized training in sports therapy will be favored. Familiarity with electronic health record systems is also beneficial, as it enhances the efficiency of patient documentation and care coordination.
