Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy to clients experiencing symptoms of major mental illness and severe emotional disorders, utilizing evidence-based approaches.

• Develop, implement, and monitor tailored integrated care plans that ensure clients have access to necessary services and support from a variety of stakeholders, including educators and family members.

• Conduct thorough, evidence-based assessments and screenings, both in-person (when necessary) and through virtual platforms, to accurately identify client needs.

• Facilitate crisis intervention for clients as needed, ensuring timely, effective responses to their immediate mental health challenges.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote comprehensive patient care and outcomes, actively participating in team meetings and case consultations.
\n
• Maintain detailed documentation and compliance with ethical standards and the operational policies of Harmony United Care Center to ensure quality service delivery.

• Contribute to program improvement efforts by participating in committees focused on enhancing service delivery and quality of care.

• Engage in ongoing professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and stay current on best practices within social work and mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LICSW at Harmony United Care Center, you will primarily work with a diverse population of students and their families, many of whom face significant barriers to accessing mental health resources. This role is centered on understanding the unique challenges faced by these individuals and providing compassionate, culturally competent care that encourages empowerment and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) with an active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Massachusetts.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and compassionately.

Preferred Experience\n
