Work Environment\n

This remote position offers flexibility with a standard workweek of Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. Although the work is conducted from the comfort of your home, our outpatient office is always a supportive backdrop where team collaboration is encouraged through virtual meetings and consultations. You will have access to state-of-the-art telehealth platforms and electronic health records (EHR) systems, ensuring that you can focus on providing exceptional care rather than being bogged down by administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver empathetic, culturally-aware psychotherapy to a varied clientele, including individuals, couples, and groups, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, and relational dynamics.

• Maintain a balanced caseload and ensure timely, precise documentation using our EHR, facilitating efficient flow of client care.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-informed approaches.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through team meetings, peer supervision, and clinical training, contributing to your growth as a mental health professional.

• Contribute to the shaping of organizational culture and care delivery by sharing your insights and creative input, enhancing the therapeutic environment for both clients and colleagues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will directly impact a diverse clientele, encompassing adults, teens, and children from various cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. You will have the opportunity to work particularly with underserved populations, including BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities, allowing you to apply a culturally sensitive lens in your therapeutic approach.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of an active LPCC license in California.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience, which can include post-licensure or strong pre-licensure experience with specialized populations.

• Proficiency in DSM-5 diagnostics, knowledge of ethical standards, and familiarity with clinical documentation processes.

• Adeptness in both independent and collaborative work settings, ensuring effective patient care and communication.

• Experience in providing therapy to marginalized groups and specific training in specialized therapeutic techniques (e.g., EMDR, IFS, somatic therapy, substance use interventions) is highly valued.
