Mindzen Psychiatry is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team as a full-time remote provider within our Hospice Center in Lancaster, California. Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver evidence-based, culturally responsive psychotherapy tailored to the needs of clients in a hospice setting, ensuring services are adaptable to their individual contexts.

• Engage in comprehensive treatment planning that respects and incorporates each client’s personal goals, values, and life experiences.
\n
• Support clients in navigating complex emotional challenges such as grief, trauma, anxiety, and depression associated with end-of-life issues.
\n
• Document client interactions and progress using our user-friendly electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring timely and accurate updates to care plans.
\n
• Participate in team case consultations, enhancing collaborative care through knowledge sharing and peer support among a group of seasoned clinicians.
\n
• Optionally facilitate group sessions, engage in community outreach efforts, or contribute to the development of innovative care programs that respond to client needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with patients in hospice care, as well as their families, addressing the multifaceted emotional and social issues that arise during critical health transitions. This includes an array of concerns such as end-of-life planning, coping strategies for grief, and managing the psychological impact of terminal illness.

Qualifications\n

• An active California LCSW license is mandatory (we also encourage applications from associates nearing licensure).

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution is required.
\n
• At least two years of clinical experience, especially within outpatient, community mental health or hospice environments.
\n
• A strong commitment to providing culturally humble, trauma-informed, and strengths-based care.
\n
• Excellent communication skills paired with high emotional intelligence, crucial for effective client engagement and collaboration.
\n
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in providing clinical support in hospice or palliative care settings is a strong plus.

• Proficiency in utilizing telehealth platforms and EHR software to facilitate remote sessions and manage documentation effectively.

• A history of developing and leading therapeutic groups or outreach programs would be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• Competitive salary ranging between $90,000.00 and $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and credentials.
