Operations Manager, Office of Residential Education

Budgeted Salary Range: The expected range for this position is $100,023 - $115,000 per annum. The Operations Manager is responsible for providing administrative support to the Assistant Vice Provost for Residential Education and the department's functional areas, under the direction of an Associate Dean. Responsibilities include managing administrative logistics related to community outreach, maintaining relationships with campus partners, and keeping current records associated with the programs and projects they coordinate. The Operations Manager also provides general support to Residential Education and the Dean of Students Office as assigned. The Operations Manager is expected to anticipate the department's needs and proactively solve problems and/or independently resolve issues. The Operations Manager reports directly to an Associate Dean and works closely with colleagues in the department and across the University. This is a 5 day onsite position. The Operations Manager oversees the administrative, operational, and financial functions of Residential Education, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations and effective support for departmental leadership. The role is responsible for managing projects and programs from planning through implementation and evaluation, coordinating office operations, human resources processes, financial administration, space and property management, procurement, and department-wide events. The position serves as a key liaison with campus partners, develops communications and training, monitors budgets and expenditures, and provides strategic recommendations to support departmental goals.
